Fifteen years ago, the Republican Party held a majority in both houses of the State Legislature and every Constitutional office in Illinois.
Today, Republicans hold none of these offices. Democrats control every single statewide office and hold majorities in both the State Senate and the General Assembly.
Fresh ideas are needed in the Illinois Republican Party.
